In terms of performance, the BYD Seal is better than the Mercedes-Benz CLA EV. The Seal offers multiple versions, including a powerful all-wheel drive option that produces up to 530 hp. This makes it significantly quicker, with a 0 to 100 time of under 4 seconds in the top variant.
While it isn’t quick, the CLA EV will still be a comfortable ride thanks to its premium features and smooth ride quality. On top of that, the CLA EV offers faster charging. The CLA EV will support 800 volts of DC charging. It will provide faster charging speeds compared to the Seal, so it is much better suited for longer trips. The CLA EV is also more packed with features.
The Mercedes offers a more premium and futuristic feel with large screens, advanced software, and high quality materials. The BYD Seal also comes well equipped, with a rotating touchscreen, comfortable seats, and plenty of tech, but its focus is more on practicality and value.
