The mid size adventure bike segment in India is heating up with the arrival of the BMW F 450 GS. It now goes up against two well known options, the KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. All three bikes are built for riders who want a mix of touring comfort and off road ability, but they take very different approaches.

Fuel tank capacity and practicality also differ. The Himalayan offers a larger tank, which is useful for long touring, while the KTM and BMW focus more on balance and weight.
In simple terms, the choice depends on what kind of riding you prefer. The KTM is for those who want performance and agility, the Himalayan suits riders looking for comfort and rugged ability, and the BMW targets buyers who want a mix of both along with a more premium feel.
